An energetic performance in the middle of the park against Fiorentina. He made four tackles and two interceptions in addition to scoring a fine goal, arriving late into the box at the end of a sweeping counter-attacking move.

A quite outstanding all-round display from the 23-year-old as he completed three dribbles and three key passes. His cross saw Arturo Vidal score the opener before bagging the second himself. A match-winning performance against the champions.
