As African celebrities gradually step back into their usual routines, it’s obvious that they are not giving up on their style and making it into fashion news every week. Last week, stylish African celebrities and style influencers returned to the scenes in super colorful looks, as prints, bold hues and neutrals owned the game.
Kicking things off, Nigerian star singer Yemi Alade served girly chic vibes in pink as she stepped out to for her judge role on The Voice Nigeria. She wore a knee-length embellished pink dress featuring exaggerated puff sleeves with fringe detailing. Choosing something simpler for her feet, she opted for a pair of strappy silver. Her hair stole the show as she styled it in a middle-parted messy top bun, completely her beauty look with a soft pink glam makeup.
Over in South Africa, model and reality TV star Blue Mbombo, looked every inch like a beauty queen in a detailed yellow beaded dress. The mono strap dress featured a cutout along the bodice which was closed up with skin-colored mesh. The shoulder was designed with a petals-inspired detailing that brought even more drama to the dress. Her slicked-back hair held a tiara to seal the pageantry glamour.
More celebrities and top influencers across the motherland also came through in various cuts of stylish looks that were unapologetically ravishing.
The looks shared by African celebrities and fashion influencers were nothing short of chic, edgy, and glamorous, and it’s safe to say that we are, as usual, living vicariously through them.
